DAVID HUNTER, JR.
CEO/Instructor
David Huntter, Jr. is a singer, songwriter, producer, drummer, pianist, musical director, and sound engineer. He started his musical career shortly after completing his Bachelor’s degree in Muisc Business Management at The Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts, U.S. He has contributed across all genres of music worldwide, both as an accomplished artist and as an adept producer, whose hard work advertises his devotion for excellence. He continues cultivating his musicianship through dedicated education, training, and development.
David was the Musical Director for the Internationally acclaimed Praise & Worship Leader, Ron Kenoly, for five years, and is featured as a solo artist and composer on the 2015 release “Set Apart Is Your Name YaHuWaH Vol. 2.” He was also the Musical Director for the six-time, grammy award-winning Brooklyn Tabernacle in Brooklyn, New York, composing and producing for the youth and young adult ministries. As a Music Director, David tours nationally and internationally, singing and teaching. International opportunities have helped him gain an appreciation for language's role in music in diverse cultures. The empathy required in music making, the openness and curiosity essential to creativity, have helped David develop a passion for writing music in different languages, reflected in his latest production projects.
David’s recognition as a producer paved the way for opportunities to write and produce for films and albums. He has been a keyboard player, background vocalist, and producer for Grammy and Stellar Award Winning artists such as Monica, Kelly Rowland, Donnie McClurkin, Smokey Norful, Mary Mary, Kim Burrell, Israel Houghton, Marvin Sapp, and Kirk Franklin, to name a few. He is also featured as a solo artist on projects like the “Wedding Album” and “Your Name is Life,” by Broadway’s famous Music Director, Jason M. Webb, and “Worship at The Cathedral” from The Greater Allen Cathedral in Jamaica, New York. He wrote the song “The Great I Am”, a single picked up by gospel recording artist Earnest Pugh. The song was also featured on Season 5 (2012) of the popular show “Sunday’s Best” Gospel TV reality series. He composed and co-wrote jingles with Grammy award-winning producer Stanley Brown for Chevrolet, Burger King, and ESPN.
